Aquatics Director: Emily MarshallHi, my name is Emily Marshall. I have a degree in early childhood and special education from UMD. I have been involved with the Duluth Y since I was an infant. I joined the Northerns when I was 5 years old and swam for the team until high school. I then became a competitive swimmer and spring board diver for East. I began my first job with the Y as a camp counselor in 2002 and since then have branched out into many different program areas including child care, youth activities, Americorps, member services, gymnastics, and aquatics. Some of my biggest accomplishments, best friendships, and cherished memories have happened because of my involvement with the Y. This will be my third season with the Northerns and I look forward to having you as part of our Y family!

8 & Under Head Coach Jeff Fouts
My name is Jeff Fouts I am from New Orleans, La. I currently attend the University of Wisconsin Superior and am pursuing a major in criminal justice. I plan on going into law enforcement once I graduate. I have been working at the Y in Duluth for about 6 years. I enjoy coaching, lifeguarding and teaching. I really enjoy making a difference in the community by working at the Y. If I am not around the pool I am outside enjoying the outdoors with friends or doing homework.

13+ Head Coach: Bill PuynkoI have been coaching since Moses walked the desert! I swam competitively through high school (MPLS SW) and college (UMD) and coached age group, high school and college swimming. My wife Judy and I coached the Y through the '80's and returned to coach the Y in 2004. Always a student of swimming, we've kept every Olympics since 1994 on tape. A couple of cautions, I'm very loud at yelling and especially whistling. And if you feed me, I'll follow you home.
